Prapti is passionate about transforming lives. As with many Yogis, Prapti’s journey began as a way to heal her body from physical ailments, but yoga means so much more than just the physical poses to her; it means connection, self-actualization, personal growth, peace, and joy. Skilled in yoga and personal development, you can expect a strong and vigorous yoga practice, along with some modern-day philosophy and super aerial yoga skills to invigorate, motivate, and inspire you.
Just under 2 years ago, Prapti had a CT scan, which revealed a spot on her thyroid gland. After ultrasounds and biopsies, Prapti was sadly informed that she had Thyroid cancer. Prapti says, “I cannot even describe how I felt, but if I have to, I felt mentally and physically drained and all alone. Feeling depressed, anxious, and worried is an understatement”.Prapti underwent a major operation, having both Thyroid glands removed. She wakes up in immense pain with stiffness and swelling in her neck. After weeks of pain, she discovered she had 0 calcium in her body and is suffering from trembling, spasms, stress, anxiety, and Claustrophobia. Extremely tired and with no energy. Without thyroid hormones, your metabolism does not work.
Once recovered, Prapti went for her check-up, and all hell broke loose; the cancer had spread to her lymph nodes. 5 lymph nodes removed. Over the months, Prapti sensed negativity and hostility from people around, due to her illness, and quickly realized her worth. The support she needed was nowhere to be found. From childbirth complications to cancer, she has now realized that health is the most important factor. Look after yourself first, then others! Prapti has decided to spend the remainder of her life helping, motivating, and inspiring people. She says “It’s never too late”. After her 2nd operation, she decided to complete YTTC and contacted Himalayan Yoga Academy in 2022.
