7 Days Ghorepani Poonhill Yoga Trek is a unique Himalayan journey that beautifully blends trekking, yoga, meditation, and cultural immersion in the heart of Nepal’s Annapurna region.

Starting and ending in Pokhara, this thoughtfully designed itinerary avoids long travel days and allows you to immerse yourself in nature and yogic living fully. This experience takes you through lush rhododendron forests, traditional mountain villages, and panoramic viewpoints, including the famous Poon Hill (3210m), known for its breathtaking sunrise over the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri mountain ranges.

Clothing

Footwear

  • Waterproof trekking boots (broken in)
  • Camp shoes/sandals

Yoga gear

  • Travel yoga mat (or use a teahouse blanket)
  • Meditation shawl (optional)

Other essentials

  • Headlamp (for Poon Hill sunrise)
  • Sunscreen SPF 50+, lip balm, sunglasses
  • Reusable water bottle (1L) – we provide boiled water

Daily Schedule

Upon arrival, you will be warmly welcomed and transferred to your yoga retreat center. In the evening, enjoy a gentle yoga session, meditation, and a short introduction to the journey ahead.

Begin the day with yoga and pranayama before driving to Nayapul. The trek starts through beautiful villages and riverside trails, offering your first glimpse of Himalayan life.

A rewarding day of trekking through stone steps and rhododendron forests. As you ascend, enjoy expanding mountain views and peaceful surroundings.

Early morning hike to Poon Hill for a spectacular sunrise over the Himalayas. After breakfast, continue trekking through serene forest trails to Tadapani.

A short and scenic descent leads to Ghandruk village. Spend time exploring the traditional culture, interacting with locals, and enjoying panoramic mountain views.

After a peaceful morning yoga session, descend to Nayapul and drive back to Pokhara. Evening at leisure—perfect for relaxing by the lake or enjoying a spa.

Final morning yoga session followed by breakfast. Transfer to airport or continue your onward journey.
