Dr. Roshan Baskota – Ayurveda Doctor and Yoga Anatomy Specialist

Dr Roshan Baskota -Ayurvedic Consultation

Dr. Roshan Baskota is an Ayurvedic doctor from Nepal with a strong commitment to holistic healing. He earned his BAMS degree (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery) at Tribhuvan University’s Ayurveda Campus, Institute of Medicine. Fascinated by the depth of Ayurvedic knowledge, he has spent time in the Himalayas learning about rare medicinal plants and minerals traditionally used for healing.

While pursuing his studies, Dr. Baskota worked with the Nepal Health Research Council (NHRC) as a research supervisor. This role took him to rural corners of Nepal, where he explored local healing traditions and documented diverse knowledge systems. His research findings are published on the NHRC platform. To complement his Ayurvedic training, he also completed Advanced Metabolic Endocrinology certification from the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine, which gave him broader insight into human physiology and modern health sciences.

Professionally, he has served in both Ayurvedic hospitals and wellness centers, gaining more than two years of clinical practice.

The COVID-19 pandemic reshaped his path when he chose to serve on the frontline. Dr. Baskota worked at the District Ayurveda Health Center in Doti, one of Nepal’s remote Far-Western districts. Though the circumstances were difficult, he played an active role in raising community health awareness and enhanced his skills through specialized government training programs, including Clinical Yoga, Marma Therapy, and ToT on Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs).
