What is Yin Yoga?

Yin Yoga is a gentle, introspective practice that targets the deep connective tissues of the body—fascia, ligaments, and joints—through long-held passive poses. Rooted in Taoist philosophy and traditional Chinese medicine (TCM), Yin works to harmonize the body’s energy meridians, increase mobility, and calm the mind. This practice complements dynamic Yang styles, such as Hatha or Vinyasa, offering a holistic approach to physical and energetic well-being.
