40-Hour Meditation Teacher Training in Nepal: A Journey into Silence

Nestled in the foothills of the Himalayas, the 40-hour Meditation Teacher Training in Nepal at Himalayan Yoga Academy is a profound “Journey into Silence.” We view meditation not merely as a practice, but as the final tool and ultimate key for the entire path of Yoga. While the physical body serves as the vehicle for meditation, meditation itself is the vehicle that carries the practitioner toward Yoga or Samadhi.

In the sacred birthplace of Shakyamuni Buddha, this course of 40-Hour Meditation Teacher Training in Nepal honors the ancient tradition that there are no “types” of meditation, only diverse pathways and scientific techniques designed to train the conscious mind. Our curriculum is built on the philosophy that the modern world’s constant exposure to external stimuli often leads to a “daily life out of peace,” resulting in stress, anxiety, and somatic diseases. This training provides a sanctuary to reverse these effects by building internal energy and life force.

Students will explore a synthesis of Vedic, Buddhist, Zen, and contemporary techniques under the guidance of masters like Swami Padmasattva and Yogi Rajkumar. By integrating Nada Yoga (Sound), Vipassana (Insight), and Prana Sadhana (Breath), participants will learn to navigate the fluctuations of the mind (Vrittis) and achieve a state of Tathata—living centered in one’s true self. This training is not just a certification; it is an invitation to rediscover the “unknowable secrecy” of aliveness through the art of loving awareness
